Men's Health

Happy African American Man and Child Isolated on a White Background.

It is said that men do not take care of their health in the same way that women do. This could be one of the reasons why women live longer than men.

Men's health can be broadly catergories in the areas of physical, sexual, mental, psychological, emotional and spiritual.

As with food, if men do not balance the health needs in their life, this could result in them reducing the longevity of their life significantly.

Mental & Psychological

Emotional & Spritual

Emotional and spiritual health does not mean that you need therapy or exorcism, but it may mean that you have been taught that men don't cry and men do not need to show their emotions.

Men keep a lot of their emotions bottled up which if left unmanaged can cause mental or psychological harm. Some men resort to physical or sexual outlets to reduce their anxiety, and some resort to food, and some to spiritual healing.

Spiritual healing can come in the form of a particular faith through mediation, singing and /or dancing.

MMOV will look at various faiths including the Christian faith and look at the various health solutions are available.

Mighty Men of Valour 's Campaign Your Sperm - Your Responsibility say it all.  If men were committed  in their sexual relationships their would be less abortions and unwanted pregnancies.  However, this is not presently the case.

Unprotected Sex

Some infections can pass to another person through unprotected vaginal, anal or oral sex, by genital contact and through sharing sex toys. Infections spread in this way are known as sexually transmitted infections.

Safer sex involves using condoms correctly every time you have sex. If you don’t use a condom you are more at risk of getting a sexually transmitted infection.

You don’t need to have lots of sexual partners to get an infection.
